CritticAge (commonly known as CA to its players) essentially consists of several games, all quite different from each other, unified into one game. When you first sign up, you will find youself with a character; you can then battle, train, and take part in other such activities. Some of these activities are mini-games in themselves. The Dead Zone is an area which you can explore while searching for resources that can be traded for money in the game. Your character can also get a Cydron, which will lead you into a tick-based strategy game.
CA also features gangs (much like clans or guilds found in many games), several message boards, and a chat which can be accessed via the game. Cydrons are found in zones, which also have their own message boards. All of these contribute to a growing community which you can be as involved in as you wish.
