To Boldly Go is an open-ended strategy game based in a sci-fi setting. Players are given a small ship which they use to travel the galaxy and do adventures, make money, or engage in combat. Players set their own goals and determine the best way to achieve them. The game has a player cap, but it expands when enough people are waiting to play. The small number of players makes it a very intimate setting, and politiking amongst the players is almost a game within the wider game. There are several player alliances, and plenty of player written help guides. You definately get out of To Boldly Go what you put into it.
